The characteristics of some drives are very special. Many applications can gain a significant advantage provided that the gear unit is specifically designed for its actual operating conditions or physical space. Our technical department and production operations are extrememly adept at handling these kinds of applications. We are continuously producing large numbers of custom made gear units. The unit weights have varied from as little as 44 lb to as much as 15 tons.
