Compact Caliper Disc Brakes - CB8

The CB8 disc brake is a spring applied, fixed caliper type disc brake. The standard version is equipped with automatic lining wear compensation and braking torque is externally adjustable.

The release mechanism is by means of electrohydraulic thruster, electromagnetic solenoid or hydraulic cylinder. Optional items such as emergency manual release and limit switches are available. Available switches are for indication of “brake released”, “lining wear limit” or “manual release”.
