Description

The brakes of the series SHI consist of two independent halves with opposite springloads and hydraulic cylinders. The lining holders are held by pin rods, which take up the brake energy. While opening the brake, the lining holders are retracted hydraulically. These brakes are useable either horizontally or vertically. Most commonly used as a second or security brake. The linings are glued and riveted on the holders. Special linings are available.
