Application

Service or emergency stop brakes for heavy duty operation and coasting. Ideal for container cranes, large belt conveyor systems, bucket wheel excavators, stackers, etc.






Design Advantages

  • All important bearing areas are equipped with close tolerance, maintenance free bushings.
  • Optimal arm geometry resulting in maximum braking torque independent of brake disc rotation.
  • Square spring tube with graduated scale to facilitate braking torque adjustment.
  • Easily replaceable and low cost brake shoe linings, asbestos free quality for max. circumferential speed of 85 m/sec and max. temperature of 850 deg. C.
  • Fasteners constructed of stainless and acid-resistant steel.
