The DBF disc brake is a spring applied, hydraulically released, heavy duty industrial fixed caliper disc brake.

Advantages of this industrial brake include its fast response time, its high torque output, and its ability to produce a range of torque values with its externally adjustable air-gap.

This hydraulic disc brake is used primarily in holding and emergency stop applications. As a safety brake, it is installed and designed for braking on the output shaft.
