Electrohydraulic thrusters are a critical component of a thruster brake, a type of industrial brake. Thruster brakes are a type of fail-safe brake that uses an electrohydraulic thruster to hold the brake open. When supplied power, the thruster piston rod extends and the brake is released. If the thruster is turned off or power is lost, the piston rod retracts and the spring engages the brake.

Thrusters are highly reliable and durable, making thruster brakes ideal for use in various kinds of industrial braking applications including fail-safe braking systems. We commonly use thruster disc and drum brakes in our industrial braking systems.

We provide comprehensive support for electrohydraulic thrusters: we stock commonly used thruster models (including EMG Eldro, EMG Elhy, and Antec Turbel thrusters), repair thrusters, and provide full engineering and technical support.
