The FPT-1 disc brake is a relatively small, spring applied, electrohydraulic thruster released, industrial disc brake.
Advantages of this industrial brake include its small footprint and easily adjustable braking torque.
This thruster brake is often used as a service brake in a wide range of industries including on cranes (especially bridge and trolley drives), moveable downhill conveyors, and in steel mills.
